Spoon sweets are whole fruit or peel preserved in syrup, traditionally offered to guests on a small plate with a glass of cold water. Popular flavours are sour cherry (vyssino), fig, quince, bergamot, grape and rose. Try them over Greek yoghurt or ice cream.
