Who can review. Only customers who have bought a product from us can review it, and their reviews are marked “Verified buyer”. Reviews we moved over from our previous review system keep the verified label only where the purchase is on record.
How we ask. A few days after your order is delivered we email you once, asking you to rate what you bought. We ask every customer, whatever we think of their order, and we never ask only the people we expect to be happy. You can stop these emails with the link at the bottom of any of them.
What we publish. We publish every genuine review, good or bad. We never remove, hide or edit a review because of its rating, and our star averages include every published review.
What we check first. Some reviews wait for a quick check before they appear: reviews with photos, and reviews containing links, email addresses, phone numbers or offensive language. We remove reviews that are not about the product, contain personal information, are abusive, or that we have good reason to believe are fake. If we hold or remove your review we will tell you why if you ask.
No paid or rewarded reviews. We don’t pay, give discounts, points or gifts for reviews, and we don’t let anyone else do so on our behalf. If we ever run a promotion that rewards reviews, every review written under it will say so clearly, and we will explain it here first.
Replies. We may reply publicly to reviews, especially to put a problem right. Replies are labelled “Reply from Greek Market”.
Your name. Reviews show your first name and the initial of your surname (for example “Maria B.”), or “Greek Market customer” if you prefer. We never show your email address.
Report a review. If you think a review is fake or breaks these rules, please tell us through our contact page and we will look into it.
